Inter Miami CF academy graduate Benjamin Cremaschi has made a permanent move to Parma. Cremaschi spent the 2025-26 season with the Italian side and has become the first Miami academy product to secure a transfer to one of Europe's top five leagues.

What happened?

The 21-year-old signed his first contract with Inter Miami CF's senior team in 2023 and helped them win both the 2023 Leagues Cup and the 2024 Supporters' Shield.

Why it matters for Inter Miami CF

This transfer is a source of immense pride for everyone at Inter Miami CF, said sporting director Alberto Marrero. It demonstrates that talent, coupled with a solid development process and real opportunities with the first team, can lead players to compete in the best leagues in the world.

What comes next?

Cremaschi expressed dissatisfaction with his playing time under Javier Mascherano in August 2025, which led to his season-long loan to Parma. That deal included an option to buy, which Parma have triggered, with the United States international signing a five-year deal with the Serie A side.

The transfer is a significant milestone for Inter Miami CF's development process and a testament to the club's commitment to nurturing young talent.
